Also, keep in mind that appearances can be very deceiving. A seemingly harmless small portion of certain foods can be true calorie bombs, while others can be eaten in large amounts with pretty much no guilt.

As good fitness freaks, we at Bright Side managed to do the math to see what it means to ingest 1,000 calories of some pretty popular foods. Diet starts Monday, we mean it this time.

There are good and bad calories, so eating 17 and a half cucumbers might be better than eating 2 1/2 hamburgers. (Occasionally I eat 5-10 cucumbers in one setting because I can. )
