A Photographer Immortalizes the Beauty of a White Lion From Every Angle
Simon Needham is a humanitarian and a wildlife photographer. He takes pictures of white lions to show the world the beauty of this rare color mutation of the lion. “I’ve been very close to lions to the point where, even though I was technically safe, it was still very scary”, Simon told Bright Side. “But safety is always my first priority. Although any time I am very close to a lion I feel like I’m in danger, I always take precautions to ensure I am in fact safe. A lion is almost 8 times stronger than a man, and just being in the presence of a lion, I can feel the power they hold.”
We at Bright Side admire Simon’s courage to stare danger in the face. And we’re inviting you to take a look at 17 of his incredible shots.
