You Can Release All of Your Emotions by Screaming Out Loud in Iceland (No Need to Go There)


Stress at work, student loans, household chores... Oh, stress and anxiety follow us around every corner. And it would be so great to just have free reign and make the whole neighborhood hear our loud “AHHHHH!” Instead we have to control ourselves, even if the desire to unload all of our negativity continues to grow. And in this situation Iceland can come to our aid.

We at Bright Side were delighted to learn about the opportunity we could have to shout everything out into the beautiful landscape of Iceland. And what is so cool is that we can do it right from our couch. So while you find out how this is possible, we’re going to go scream at the top of our lungs.

What is it

“Looks Like You Need Iceland” is a special project that was created to “let your frustrations out.” It helps people around the world to let the steam off. And we’ll explain to you how to use it.

What you can do

You just need to go to this site. There you can choose the location that you like: mountains, beaches, or fields. And now you can safely release your emotions. Just click on the record button and scream at the top of your lungs.

Experts advise screaming while standing with your feet hip-width apart and knees slightly bent. You can rest your hands on your hips or belly. Think about what you’re going to scream. It can be a sound or a specific phrase. Let it out from deep inside.

Iceland will hear you

But that’s not all. Your record will be streamed to speakers and distributed to the entire district at the location you’ve chosen. In addition, you can listen to the recordings of other people from different parts of the world.

Purpose of the project

This may sound like a joke or a prank. But, in reality, screaming helps us get rid of the emotions and pain that we’ve suppressed for whatever reason. Creators hope that this will have a therapeutic effect and make people feel better.
