On September 13th, the biggest fashion event of the year, the Met Gala, shattered the Internet with this year’s theme, “American,” inviting both celebs and designers to go nuts with outfit ideas. Viewers’ opinions were polarized: some people were excited about the exhibition, while others found it rather boring and disappointing; and some people didn’t care at all. Whatever side you’re on, it’s still worth taking a look at.
Each year, Bright Side excitedly waits for Met Gala just to see what crazy costumes the guests will come up with, so we collected 20 looks that impressed us the most.
Which outfit impressed you the most? If you were invited to such an event, what look would you rock?
Lil Nas X was definitely having one of those main character moments, lol 😆! His layers of outfits were freaking crazy. A couple of them looked really great tho. The black cape with the gold trim that was under the fur and the C3PO looking outfit were kinda awesome. The fur and the final mesh outfit didn't stand out nearly as much.
