Hindi is not the national language of India. India does not have any national language. It only has 24 official languages including English and Hindi. You can see all these languages on the Indian currency.

There is no national language in India. My mother tongue is Hindi and it is spoken by 50% people.

I keep getting amazed by how India always tries to do something for the ecology - they replant the forests, clean lakes from the scratch. There are a lot of things that other countries can learn from India!

Agree with many. But I guess they have installed Bidet showers inside toilets ? instead of a bucket and a bowl.I have been to Chennai. What i really liked about Chennai is the "Shopping". Food is cheep and tasty but should find a decent place. Bombay kulfie is the best type of ice creaam you would eat...

English is an official language too..southern states use English....official languages are used for official matters....for living our our mother tongue and English is enough....?
