10 People With Extraordinary Physical Features We Can’t Believe Actually Exist

Some people have unique and extraordinary physical features that set them apart from the average person. These can include extra fingers or toes, a condition is known as polydactyly. Another example is a genetic disorder called Proteus syndrome, which causes bone and skin abnormal growth. These unique bodily features may make a person stand out, but they should be celebrated and respected for their individuality. Check out some of them in our article.

1. The hairiest man

Your body can be covered by a certain amount of hair depending on your race and nationality. However, there is a man who has the absolute majority of his body covered in hair. Since the age of 2, Yu Zhenhuan has suffered from a rare condition that has resulted in 96% of his body being covered in hair, making him the hairiest man in the world.

2. People with an excessive number of teeth

Hyperdontia is a condition where extra teeth grow in the mouth, typically in the location behind or near the usual primary or permanent teeth. So there are people whose number of teeth exceeds the standard 32. Some cases of hyperdontia don’t need treatment, while others require the removal of the extra teeth.

3. A woman with unique eye “pop”

Meet Kim Goodman, whose ability to pop her eyes may seem scary to some people. She can pop her eyeballs out incredibly far — 12 mm (0.47 inches) beyond her eye sockets. This ability is known as proptosis, the term for eyeball displacement or bulging eyes. Goodman discovered this talent when she was hit on the head by a hockey mask and can now do it on cue.

4. The longest nose

For some people, a large nose can become a reason for insecurity, however, for Mehmet Özyürek, his nose became a unique feature that made him famous. Özyürek has the longest nose, which measures
3.46 in (8.80 cm). He has never felt a need to change it and has always been happy to have it.

5. The longest lashes

Many women try to make their lashes voluminous and long by any means possible, however, for You Jianxia, it’s not a dream. The woman has incredibly long natural eyelashes — the longest in the world, measuring 4.88 in (12.40 cm). Despite the length, Jianxia doesn’t find them inconvenient but a part of her body.

6. An extra large mouth gape

The guy in the photo on the right (Isaac Johnson) cannot only bite the apple but put it in his mouth. Johnson officially has the largest mouth gape in the world, measuring 4.014 in (10.196 cm ).

7. The longest tongue

Have you ever tried to touch your nose with your tongue? This girl can place hers way beyond her nose. Chanel Tapper has the longest tongue, measuring 3.8 inches (9.75 cm) from the tip to the middle of her lip. Her extraordinary tongue has yet to be surpassed. She often receives looks of disbelief, and people often ask her to show it to them again.

8. Giant feet

Jeison Orlando Rodríguez Hernandez holds the record for having the largest feet in the world. As a child, he faced difficulties finding shoes that fit and had to wear sandals made from old tires and fabric. Despite this, his feet continued to grow and were measured at approximately 15.7 in (40 cm) in 2014. He is currently undergoing treatment to prevent his feet from increasing further.

9. Very stretchy skin

The next person with a unique physical feature on our list is Garry Turner, who suffers from a rare medical condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. It affects connective tissue and results in a loosening of the skin and hypermobility of the joints. Turner’s skin on his stomach can be stretched to a length of 6.2 in (15.8 cm).

10. The biggest mouth

As a kid, have you ever tried to calculate how many grapes could fit in your mouth? Well, this guy can probably put a whole bunch of grapes in his. Meet Francisco Domingo Joaquim, the person who, officially, has the widest mouth at 6.69 in (17 cm).
