20+ Kids Who Manage to Surprise Their Parents Every Day

On average, children inquire about 73 queries daily. Regrettably, there is no official record of the exact number of facepalms parents endure daily due to their kids’ antics, but we can safely assume it’s quite substantial! And it’s not only the inquiries that lead to this reaction. Every now and then, children engage in actions that leave you torn between bursting into laughter or shedding a tear. The collection of 19 pictures below beautifully captures that very sentiment.

1. “This photo of me (on the right) and my friend finding a pot of gloss paint and deciding to paint my whole room, covering everything in the room and staining it.”

2. “Look, ma, I fit!”

3. “My daughter makes beds in random places. Found her asleep in a Costco tote/container.”

4. “I present to you how I find my toddler at daycare pickup, who no longer needs a nap, according to him.”

5. “My daughter has been picking out her own clothes and watching her big brother get on the bus.”

6. “My 2-year-old daughter drew a pillow with chalk, then laid down for a nap...”

7. “My son after trying to get back down from washing his hands. Just hanging there...helpless...”

8. “This is how my son was sleeping. He may be immortal.”

9. “Playing hide and seek with my kids and this is how I found my daughter.”

10. “My son just made a huge mess. This is his ’just let me explain’ face.”

11. “My daughter looks like she just destroyed an entire Sith army.”

12. I mean, he does have a point.

13. “My kids have disabled my iPod for 45 years.”

14. “Caught my son watching cartoons at 3 AM. He didn’t expect to be caught.”

15. “Took my daughter to a Van Gogh exhibit.”

16. “Took my daughter out for a nice dinner...”

17. “My daughter thought this was her. Bonus: my son is in the background.”

18. “My son feeding his fake dog goldfish while his real dog sits outside, pissed”

19. “I just wanted to use the bathroom alone for once.”

20. “These kids were asked to dress up as elves for their school play. One kid dressed up as Elvis.”

21. We can feel the headache settling in.

22. “My daughter felt one straw was not enough...”

23. “My six-year-old daughter is great at multitasking.”

24. “Glad I checked before I flushed...”

We’ve witnessed some hilarious and relatable moments captured in these pictures of kids and had a great time rolling on the floor laughing. But let’s not forget our furry friends, too — they can also bring joy (and occasional chaos) to our lives. So, let’s keep the laughter going.
