    I really like this little stand. Like many, I tend to pop plant cuttings in a jam jar of water, plonk them on a windowsill, and then forget all about them.
    This little vase set means that I can keep cuttings on display without looking messy.
    It’s a doddle to put together—maybe 2 minutes at the most.
    It looks good and feels sturdy, and I definitely recommend it.

The glass is very thin and seems very fragile, but then I’m not planning on bashing it about the place. Perfectly packaged in polystyrene, so it is very unlikely to arrive damaged.

  • It looks great but is very fragile. I can see one or more of the glass beakers breaking easily enough if they get any rough treatment. I will probably buy another to have 3 backups. Perfect for anyone without kids or pets capable of climbing.

I have him in my guest bathroom, and the few people who have seen him all thought he was the greatest thing and had to know where they could get him for themselves.
    He’s made of a lightweight resin and is only about the size of a softball, so he’s easy to tuck in many places. My only complaint would be that the cost is a bit high for what he is, but hey, I knew the cost upfront, and I bought it anyway, as did hundreds of other people. He’s such a unique little item that I didn’t mind paying a bit too much for him. Sometimes, you just have to do that. I think he’s great and would buy him again.

    We added some ceramic water slide decals and kiln-fired the name onto the side, and it worked perfect.

  • Think twice before you buy this nice little llama. In my case, less than 10% of the seed germinated. And the water reservoir had to be refilled every day. Also, after 2 weeks, the water seeping through the glaze on the llama’s neck produced a white crust of mineral salts.
    If you still want to try it, buy a packet of fresh cress seeds and try keeping the llama in a dark cupboard for the first few days to help germination.
