48-Year-Old Hillary Swank Reveals Why She’s in Awe With Her Twin Pregnancy

The pregnancy glow is real! Ever since she shared the exciting news in October last year, Hillary Swank has been all smiles. The beloved actress, who got pregnant for the first time at the age of 48, gave many women new hope for motherhood after 40. While the star admits she always thought she’d become a mom someday, Hilary waited patiently until everything started to fall into place.

Hilary finally feels ready for motherhood.

After dating Philip Schneider for a year and a half, the couple got married in 2018 and decided they wanted to expand their family: ’’All elements needed to come together," Hilary explains, adding that, “It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable.”

She’s handling her twin pregnancy with ease.

To her fans’ delight, Swank occasionally shares updates on her pregnancy progress on Instagram, and in the most recent one she says: ’’Oven’s heatin’ up, dough’s beginning to rise!’’ Regardless of the fast-approaching April due date, Hillary seems to be in better shape than ever.

She came up with genius ways to conceal her belly.

She also kept working full-time during the first half of her pregnancy. While shooting the series Alaska Daily, Hilary initially hid her baby bump from the crew, saying that she had to cut her trousers on set so that her growing belly could fit: ’’I was like, I’m pregnant and I can’t tell anybody,’’ the actress recalls.

Swank wanted to remain active.

Although Swank is no stranger to strenuous workouts, she kept her exercise regime moderate and wanted to avoid any physically challenging scenes: ’’I needed a stunt double for running,’’ she confessed. However, nobody believed that she was actually a ’’terrible’’ runner, so Swank had to use her talent to convince the crew to help her out.

Her babies’ gender will be a surprise.

In October 2022, Swank could finally breathe a sigh of relief as she announced that she was expecting twins, saying that motherhood is something she has wanted for a long time. After years of being focused on her career and taking the time to find the “right one,” Hillary finally feels like everything is coming together in her life: ’’It’s beautiful. All is aligning,’’ she adds. Coincidentally, her due date falls on her late father’s birthday, who passed away in 2021.

The gorgeous actress appeared at the Golden Globes in February alongside her husband, looking as stunning as ever. While being interviewed on the red carpet, she shared her amazement with pregnancy, saying that she’s ’’in complete awe’’ of what our bodies are capable of. The soon-to-be parents will wait until the babies pop out to find out their gender. And they haven’t decided on the names yet, but Swank says they have ’’a couple of’’ both boy and girl names already up their sleeve.
