“Humor has no limits, it is the people who use it that must have limits,” say social science scientists and this is probably where the truth is. Even though some people think there are no limits, some jokes may seem mean to other people. This is what happened to Amy Schumer who recently made a post featuring Nicole Kidman, but soon it went all wrong.

Amy posted a pic of Nicole with a “funny” caption on her Instagram.

Amy Schumer appears to be making her memes based on celebrities’ reactions to the U.S. Open tennis tournament, with one of them involving Nicole Kidman.

The comedian had previously posted a now-deleted image on Instagram, featuring the actress seated in the stands during the event. The caption for the photo was “This how human sit,” as noted by the media.

Kidman watched the match in the photograph with her hand positioned beneath her chin.

Many fans called Amy “mean,” however, some defended her.

Although Amy appeared to have created the post in good humor, it quickly garnered negative comments from people who accused her of being unkind toward the actress. Shortly thereafter, she deleted the post.

One person wrote, “Bringing others down is always a sign of our own internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror.” A different comment read, “Mean girl, Amy, shame on you!!!”

On the other hand, some followers came to Amy’s defense emphasizing that it was intended as a joke. One person commented, “She’s a comedian. Comedians make jokes. Calm down.” Another advised a critic to “lighten up,” while someone else stated, “Take. A. Joke.” A fan reacted by saying, “It’s a joke.”

Later Amy had to apologize for her post.

After getting all those comments Schumer quickly deleted the photo of Nicole and apologized in a subsequent post, which she later deleted as well. In her apology, she seemingly joked that she posted the photo of Kidman because she looked like “an alien”.

“I want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien,” the comedian said.

This is not the first time Nicole has been trolled online. Recently the fans criticized her for wearing a mini-skirt saying that it was too short for her, but Nicole had a perfect response to them.
