The second to last picture is not realistic because they gave her a baby belly pooch that women get after they have a baby she hadn't had a baby yet in that scene therefore that picture is not realistic because that specific pooch is a baby belly pooch you get from after a baby
Artist Gives Disney Icons Realistic Bodies, and the Results Are Eye-Opening
Get ready for a magical makeover! Wyethe Smallish has given classic Disney princes and princesses a fresh, fuller-figured look, celebrating body diversity in the most charming way. These reimagined characters might just change the way you see fairy tales!
1. Ariel
Say goodbye to the era of only slim mermaids! Ariel is making a splash with a new wave of self-love, proving that confidence looks good at any size.
2. Belle

Face shape was fine but whatever...
Belle proves that intelligence and beauty come in all sizes. She has already taught us once to look beyond appearances and appreciate the true essence of a person.
3. Elsa

She's not feminine looking enough in this makeover she looks like someone took a shield and tied it down to flatten her chest and stomach and she just looks like she's wearing a wide shield over herself
The ice queen is bringing the heat with her stunning new look! Ditching the classic slim figure for a curvier one, Elsa shows us that true beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, so let’s let it go with outdated standards!
4. Princess Aurora

Again, face shape is fine. Also corsets were a thing back then and these girls most likely wore them.
In a fairy-tale twist, Sleeping Beauty woke up to a world where all body types are celebrated! With her gorgeous new curves, Aurora proves that you don’t need to be slim to enchant a kingdom or steal the heart of a charming prince.
5. Prince Eric

No. The left is actually pretty realistic considering the physical work he did and the life he led. This 'artist' is clearly making their ulterior motives known.
Check out Prince Eric’s bold new look! He’s proving that heroism isn’t about having a chiseled jawline or a slim physique, it’s about confidence, kindness, and a heart of gold!
6. Cinderella

She barely eats and is always the most active in the house, how is she chubby??
Cinderella’s got a little more to twirl in that iconic ball gown! With her stunning new curves, she proves that you don’t have to be petite to steal the show, and the prince’s heart, before midnight!
7. Princess Tiana

All these people saying she's chubby. She isn't chubby, that is a normal body. 💀 Some of the previous pictures were chubby, this one isnt.
Meet Tiana, the hardworking and unstoppable princess who’s redefining beauty! Rocking her gorgeous green gown, she proves that elegance, strength, and success come in all shapes and sizes.
8. Rapunzel

A starving prisoner carrying 30 to 50 lb around with them constantly at all times if they can never take a break from because that's how much their hair that's attached to them ways is going to be fit... How about you show girls that they can be toned and in shape without being skinny in anorexic and without being overweight but it's okay to look a normal size there is An IN-Between from which y'all are trying to do... This one is the best so far this Rapunzel actually looks fit and toned not skinny and not overweight. Bravo good job.
Rapunzel is letting down her hair and leveling up her confidence! With her stunning new look, she proves that you don’t need a slim figure to reach new heights, just a little courage and a lot of fabulous hair!
9. Jasmine

Too much you overdid it on her princess Jasmine. Once again royalty is going to be typically in good shape. I'll go halfway in between where you started from and where you went
Check out Jasmine, our fearless Arabian princess, soaring on her magic carpet with confidence and curves! Rocking her iconic turquoise outfit, she proves that ruling a kingdom, and breaking stereotypes, has nothing to do with size!
10. Mulan

Good job on Mulan but I would like to see her with more fit toning the muscle in her arm looks good but it needs to be more defined because it almost looks flabby and that most definitely would not be the case for a military warrior
Mulan’s strength, determination, and stunning new curves prove that heroes come in all shapes and sizes. She reminds us that true bravery isn’t about appearance, it’s about the fire within!
11. Meg

Notice how they leave the top of the chest alone? This is just 'that' kind of art. And being chunky myself makes me disgusted that I'd probably accidentally attract this person.
Check out Meg, the fierce Greek goddess! She’s showing us that you don’t need to be super skinny to take on mighty gods, save the day, and serve up some serious sass while doing it!
12. Belle and Adam

This change does not feel right at all
Prince Adam is rocking a fuller figure, proving that fairy-tale endings aren’t about fitting a certain look, they’re about self-acceptance and love. His transformation challenges old stereotypes and reminds us that true beauty always comes from within!
Who hasn’t wondered what their favorite cartoon characters would look like all grown up? Well, our illustrators have brought that dream to life! They’ve reimagined beloved characters as adults, giving us a glimpse into their future.

Same. I love it too people just prefer to see skinny skeletons on Disney than the actual may different body shapes there in irl
I think my only problem with it is it goes too far in the other direction. I'm heavy myself, but not because it's "realistic". It's because I got into bad habits as a kid and can't break them. If they want to show realism, it should be what kids CAN be and not what's common these days because of fast food and lack of exercise. A lot of the men the artist changed WERE realistic like Eric and the Beast
Because everyone want to jump on the body shaming train and don't realize what the actual intended message was
You realize that thin people exist, right?
You do realize most princesses wore corsets so they would quite literally be THAT thin...
Plus Ariel swims constantly... so..... guess
Danny, why don't you put a corset on and cinch it that tight. Have fun breathing amd bruising your ribs.
You forget: in those days, they began wearing corsets at around the age of 7.
By the time they grew up, they were well accustomed to them.
not most of them. mulan, jasmine, ariel, cindy, meg, elsa, tiana, belle, and rapunzel definately didn't. in fact i don't think there is proof that any disney princess wore corsets. they have slimmer arms and legs, so why would their waist be any different.
Oh, wow. If I wouldn't've guessed, I thought they were cartoons or something!
Created an account just to say this. A lot of this is normal/healthy body mass. 'They're wearing a corset' corsets that tight would literally restrict breathing and damage your ribs. Take it from someone who works with and makes corsets. Also, this isn't 'chubby'. Chubby depends on a persons body frame and genes. Either way, it's more realistic than the prior. I don't have an issue with either, but a lot of you are so pressed about someone imagining women with more time-accurate bodies. Look around you at the women in your life and tell me how many of them have a waist under 20''. Look at most clothing size charts.
Your answer to this is look around and see that most people are over weight so we should teach our kids that it is good to be over weight?
As someone who grew up pudgy and still am to this day, I was and still kinda am insecure about it because when I was younger and would see Disney princesses I thought I was supposed to be that pretty and skinny. What this person is saying is the fact you have to look around closely, I've never seen an overweight person while outside. You replying with this what if you end up making someone(pudgy or chubby or really any body type) think they are overweight? It can mess with them mentally and emotionally, change how they see food and although yes it's healthy to change eating habits it can also be unhealthy depending on how rapidly it changes
Well if it you must be that persnickety, then, look up the stats of fitness athletes and tell me how many have waists under 24"
I like the concept but I disagree. The better lesson is to teach our youth and future generations that we come in different shapes and sizes and thats the way it should b. There is some blame for those that perpetrate the myth of the perfect body only because the perfect body doesn't exist.
Just b u, b a good person. Thats what matters.
Yes, but the majority of them, actually all of them, look like they have the waist the size of their forearm and that's not even realistic in typical body standards. You can have them be thin while also proportioned appropriately so we're not creating this illusion that your waist is supposed to be so small that it can't even house your organs.
The problem with this is while some are more realistic some are very much not. Realistic doesn’t automatically mean chubby. Realistic can be anything. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes whether skinny, medium chubbier, or etc. Girls can also be skinny with a bit of belly too so at the end of the day we need to realize that being realistic is recognizing every body shape and body type.
children are not idiots, they know what's realistic. when I was a kid I laughed at Aurora's tiny waist because I knew how silly that would look on a normal person. I guarantee you that kids are more focused on Ariel's tail than her cup size, kids want the poofy dress and the fairy godmother, not feet so tiny that not a single girl in the whole kingdom could fit in her shoes
You saying "realistic bodies" is just kind of silly. All the artists did was make then chubby when there was no use. Okay, I'll admit some of the art made sense but the rest was just unnecessary. Are you insinuating that the only way for them to be realistic is for them to be chubby, if so then what the heck are you doing?. Every body is unique and perfect, there's no need to make them chubby to fit into a one sided perpective
So I notice that some of the photos made them look chubby but I don't think that was intended, if he had changed the height to fit the thickness then they wouldn't have looked chubby at all
These stories are fantasies! Nothing about them is supposed to be "realistic". Even the kids get it. Just leave it alone, jeesh
Notice on no. 9/13 the male body stayed the same? Really inclusive.... Thank goodness male body perception is not on the decline. Not everyone can be Jasmin's Aladdin
Tell me you don't understand artistic expression without telling me.
It's just crazy how people will criticize one little thing, no matter what it is. Can't ever appraise something, just negativity. Let the artist have fun and do what they like, I'd like to see some of you commenters try to draw.
