In the recent ongoing debate about how often babies should be given a bath, the Frozen actor, Kristen Bell, gave her 2 cents. She revealed bathing kids daily might be unnecessary, and she isn’t going to do it.

Bright Side found Kristen’s point of view interesting and would like to share it with our audience.

She used to bathe her kids every day, initially.

Kristen and her husband, Dax Shepard, would bathe the kids before putting them to bed. This was their nighttime routine until their children started going to bed by themselves. They admitted they started to forget to bathe the kids. The pair has 2 daughters together.

Now, Kristen and her husband Dax wait till they “catch a whiff.”

Dax added that it was easy to forget as the children wouldn’t smell for “sometimes 5, 6 days.” Kristen weighed in and added that she likes to wait for them to stink before giving them a bath, saying, “I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink. Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up.”

Kristen believes it’s the right thing to do for the environment.

The 41-year-old actress further explained her reasons and revealed that since California has been facing a shortage of water, it’s partly her responsibility to save water. To do her part, she showers together with her daughters.

Experts reveal how often babies should be bathed.

Turns out, there is actually no need for babies to bathe every day, and a couple of times per week should be enough as they grow older. They don’t sweat like adults and do not get very dirty either. In fact, bathing excessively can make their skin dry and even lead to eczema.
