Zendaya’s Revealing Outfit at a Movie’s Premiere Leaves ’Nothing to Imagination’ (See the Pic Inside)
During the worldwide premiere of Dune: Part Two in London, much attention was directed towards Zendaya, the Emmy-winning actress and esteemed fashion icon. She mesmerized onlookers with her dazzling silver ensemble, evoking imagery akin to the iconic robot C-3PO.
The promotional tour for Dune: Part Two has transformed into a display of haute couture ensembles, with Zendaya leading the charge with her daring fashion selections that never fail to impress spectators.
At the film’s premiere in London, 27-year-old Zendaya once again exceeded expectations. Styled by her trusted fashion guru, Law Roach, Zendaya stole the spotlight in a vintage Mugler robotic suit.
The vintage couture ensemble, initially unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in 1995, boasts a construction of silver fabric meant to emulate robotic armor. It showcases PVC-covered cutouts, notably on the chest and back.
Zendaya confidently showcased the daring back design as she posed on the red carpet. Staying true to the original, her interpretation of the outfit was meticulously styled, right down to the metallic pumps. However, she decided against wearing the headpiece, opting instead for a chic bun with side-swept bangs and complementing the look with a striking statement necklace.
Although Zendaya is now considered a true fashion icon, in the beginning of her career brands were reluctant to lend her clothing. The celebrity stylist described how he and Zendaya developed a penchant for selecting vintage red carpet outfits.
«We’ve been [pulling vintage] since Zendaya and I began working together, for 13 years now. At first, it came out of necessity because back when we started, nobody would lend her clothes,» he said. «And I come from vintage — I had a vintage store in Chicago — so a lot of the things that she wore were things from my store or vintage pieces.»
Zendaya’s fashion choices have been diverse and memorable, ranging from futuristic robot-inspired ensembles to classic fairy tale glamour. In 2019, she donned a Cinderella-inspired dress, showcasing yet another facet of her style repertoire.
