First of all does he pay rent?
He is probably living with you for free
I would give him a card next year( empty of course)
Multiply the rent in your area plus the cost of utilities and food
He is probably getting way more than his sister
What an ungrateful son.

As parents, we must try to keep harmony and a loving atmosphere with our children by making no difference. Why cause more pain and hurt feelings on your child by waiting a whole year with an empty card to add more hurt. Lets be sensible and treat everyone equally to show them you love them the same no matter what.

If you are willing to do the same for him when he leaves home, gets a house etc and he's still being funny then he is ungrateful. If you'd never do the same then you're in the wrong. You probably should've given them both the same. Then given her the cash outside of Christmas gifting.
