10 Brave Women Reveal Their Most Embarrassing Moments

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith met in 1994, raised 3 kids, and even jumped out of a plane together. They’re one of the most famous couples in Hollywood, and every year their chemistry only gets stronger. Not so long ago, they revealed that they have an open marriage and call themselves “life partners.” Despite all the flings, they still return to each other and don’t plan on choosing anyone else.
According to Smith, Jada never believed in having a conventional marriage. She had family members that were also in unconventional relationships. They wanted to make their relationship relatively perfect and had endless discussions about it. At some point, they decided that polyamory suited them well and stuck to it.
Will grew up in a very religious family, and he carried on his grandma’s teachings and beliefs. He also often donates to various charities. He says, “In my mind, in my Christian upbringing, even my thoughts [of having an affair] were sins.” Pinkett Smith, however, was okay with living polyamorously.
To cope with his feelings of guilt, Smith got some therapy. He told his intimacy coach if he could have anything in the world, he’d want a harem of girlfriends with Halle Berry in it.
The actor recollects, “The idea of traveling with 20 women that I loved and took care of seemed great. After we played it out, I was like, ’That would be horrific! Can you imagine how miserable?’”
When Jada was asked to share her opinion about Smith’s possible affairs, she said, “You’ve got to trust who you’re with. I’m not anybody’s watcher. He’s a grown man. Here’s what I trust — I trust that the man that Will is, is the man of integrity. He’s got all the freedom in the world. As long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be okay, I’m good.”
Will also spoke about his crushes with Pinkett Smith. He has to because she’s going to “know anyway.”
The couple says that their relationship is based on trust and freedom, where each one has to find their own way. They believe that marriage can’t be a prison. Smith also pointed out that inner peace should stem from the inside rather than from the outside, explaining, “The spiritual journey is finding your joy and bliss without vampirically using others.”
