15+ Times Designers Made Us Want to Scream, “What Is Wrong With You!?”

Curiosities

As Karl Lagerfeld once said, absurdity and anti-absurdity are the 2 poles of creative energy. It seems like some designers took these words too literally. Otherwise, we wouldn’t see so many mind-blowing objects around us, and fashion wouldn’t be so complicated to follow.

1. “One of the drawers at my doctor’s office that always annoys me”

2. “The curtains in my hotel room look like they’re stained.”

3. “These toilet cleaning things make your toilet even messier looking.”

4. “6-foot-tall plunger”

5. “This car that someone actually drives”

6. “This chair on my university campus”

7. “This looks up to code (found in the local mall)!”

8. “Shizuoka City has some ’interesting’ sculptures.”

9. “My petite box”

10. “Emma Corrin poses upon arrival to attend The Olivier Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in Central London.”

11. “Moved houses and discovered I can’t fully open my kitchen drawers because they hit the radiator.”

12. “It’s difficult to know if the filter or tap is selected unless I turn on the water.”

13. “The electric post is blocking the pathway of a PWD lane.”

14. “The mirror is in its natural position, angled all the way over and I still can’t see anything without leaning way forward.”

15. “This bag is guaranteed to shed glitter on everything in your suitcase for life.”

16. “The lid holder slit is a cool idea, but it’s getting hot and is very close to the handle.”

17. “The post was built after the house was.”

18. “An emo duck”

19. “Bathroom at a pizza place. 2 toilets divided by a wall — that doesn’t reach the doors.”

“Where my spouse is standing is just a gap where you can have a bathroom neighbor.”

Do you have “genius” inventions like these at your place? Have you ever seen such creative people in your life?
