For our children, a teacher is the 2nd authority figure in line after their parents. A teacher’s attitude toward a child strongly influences their personal development. Students often think that a teacher knows about them, more than they know about themselves — so teachers seemingly have this secret knowledge that children can’t understand. That’s why our teacher’s words often get stuck in our heads for many years.

My college advanced literacy professor had a phrase he liked to use before dismissing our Friday classes. He would start by saying..
"Go forth and drive safely!" We were taught to always answer...
"We will sir for we acknowledge that we are not immortal!"
The one from number 6 is too funny! He was "traveling"...
I only have bad memories of my teachers haha. I thought I've forgotten about them already but this article made me remember them lol
