20 People Whose Day Could Certainly Be Improved

Steve Allen had said that comedy is tragedy plus time. And if you look back on some inconvenient episodes in your life, you realize that some of them were actually-really-maybe-kinda funny. Of course, it doesn’t feel like that in the heat of the moment, but after gaining some perspective, you can have a good chuckle about things.

Bright Side collected 20 photos of people who were forced to get up on the wrong foot — just try not to laugh too hard at their misfortune.

1. “So, how is your morning going?”

2. “My mother-in-law started the dishwasher for us when we were away. She used dish soap.”

3. “You are NOT going to believe what happened while you were gone.”

4. “Flew 13 hours to Hawaii to see Volcanoes National Park.”

5. “Dropped 2 pies on the floor as they were coming out of the oven.”

6. “My son decided to swallow a nickel and turn $0,05 into $4,400.”

7. “I just spent over an hour in traffic on my way to work. Only then did I look down.”

8. “You ever mess up burgers so bad that even your grill was surprised?”

9. “I was told I couldn’t smile for the picture on my driver’s license. This is good to go though.”

10. “It was windy today.”

11. “How’s this TV in my hotel? I should’ve brought the telescope.”

12. “Swearing ensued.”

13. “A photographer captured the exact moment I realized I would be bullied for the rest of grade school.”

14. “Some poor kid’s Croc and sock got jammed in the escalator.”

18. “The in-laws invited us over for dinner. It was a trap.”
