9 Tips That Can Make Your Pregnancy Much Easier

Pregnancy is a magical period when you feel happy and exhausted at the same time. Your body and mood change every day, and it can disturb you. To make these days more comfortable and relaxing, you need some good tips and gadgets to survive all 3 trimesters.

We at Bright Side wish future mothers mild pregnancies and are sharing some tips that can be helpful to you.

1. Use an inflatable ring to lay on your belly.

An inflatable ring can be useful not just for swimming, but for resting on your belly when it starts to grow. If you can’t sleep peacefully on your back, this tip will be very helpful to you.

2. Use aloe to avoid stretch marks.

If you want to minimize the appearance of stretch marks during pregnancy, try a tip that people in India suggest. Find an aloe leaf — you’ll need to remove the sticky gel from the inside of it. Massage the gel gently onto your skin and let it stay there for 20-40 minutes. After that, wash it off with water. You can also try to use coconut oil and the aloe vera gel together.

3. Reuse an old shirt that is too small for you.

No need to buy new shirts every month because of your growing belly. Just get an old shirt or blouse and a T-shirt. Cut the middle of the T-shirt and stitch it to the other shirt with sewing tape as it’s shown in the picture.

4. Press a spot on your hand to minimize nausea.

There’s a pressure point located on the inner side of your wrist.

  1. First, you need to find the spot. Place the first 3 fingers of your other hand across your wrist at the base of your palm.
  2. Then place your thumb just below your 3 fingers.
  3. Start pressing gently with your thumb until you feel 2 large tendons. You found the spot.
  4. Apply gentle pressure to this spot.
  5. Repeat with the other hand. Please remember that this is not medical advice and you should check with a health professional regarding any symptoms.

5. Make your space in the bathroom safer with additional attachable handles.

Struggling to stand up during the last month of pregnancy is not rare for future moms, and it can be especially uncomfortable in the bathroom. Simply buy special adjustable handles and stick them wherever you like. Just be sure to adjust them properly.

6. Get a bra extender.

An expanding bustline is normal during pregnancy, but there is one more problem: your bras get smaller. Don’t buy new bras, just get some bra extenders and you’ll be good to go.

You definitely need good sleep during pregnancy to feel relaxed. Try sleep headphones to block out noise and light so your partner’s snoring or loud neighbors won’t disturb you.

8. Find your own comfortable belly support.

Once your belly starts to grow, it gets difficult to lay on your side. Just purchase a special pillow for this so your sleep can be more comfortable.
