Animators just love sneaking in little Easter eggs for fans to catch in their shows and movies. Disney has been doing this for years... a lot of their films like to hide pictures of Mickey Mouse ears, also known as “Hidden Mickeys,” and it’s been a staple of their films since Snow White!
We at Bright Side love cartoons and here’s our list of special cameo appearances in some of your favorite animated shows and movies.
1. It’s not just cartoons that appear in Ralph Breaks the Internet...
2. You know SpongeBob made it big when he guest-starred on The Simpsons.
3. Adam West and Burt Ward (who played Batman and Robin) reunited in this Futurama episode.
4. Lady and the Tramp make a brief appearance in 101 Dalmations.
5. Bambi’s mother has had quite a career. Here she is in The Sword in the Stone.
6. Does this Little Mermaid from A Goofy Movie look familiar to anyone?
7. Cinderella’s father-in-law and the Grand Duke were invited to a wedding in The Little Mermaid.
8. Aladdin’s Sultan owns a toy version of Beauty’s Beast.
9. Look at the bottom right corner. Belle is reading a book in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
10. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider appear at the coronation in Frozen.
11. Just look at these bootleg movies from Zootopia. The giraffe one is for an unmade Jack and the Beanstalk movie.
12. Flounder from The Little Mermaid appears as a fish in Moana.
13. Wreck-It-Ralph also appears in Moana’s end credits.
14. Those Mickey Mouse cartoons are full of old friends!
15. The Powerpuff Girls (or animals cosplaying as them) appear in Chowder.
16. Then again, maybe Townsville is a sister city.
17. If he’s so smart, why is Dexter still in kindergarten with the Powerpuff Girls?
18. Olaf from Frozen made a quick appearance in Big Hero 6.
19. King Triton (from The Little Mermaid) appears as a Mardi Gras parade float in The Princess and the Frog.
20. Cricket Green from Big City Greens is a plush toy in Amphibia.
21. Who would have guessed Soos from Gravity Falls would channel his inner-Gumby?
22. Here’s a 2-for-1: Mr. Incredible has a Monster’s Inc. themed shirt and Mrs. Incredible has a Finding Nemo themed dress.
Bonus: Animated characters can also appear as live-action versions of themselves. Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Tiana appear at Cinderella’s ball.

I actually really like how they mention other movies and cartoons in their other works. Makes me feel sully emerged and connected, especially if my favorite ones are mentioned
