10 Obvious Movie Bloopers That Many of Us May Have Missed
While filming, movie directors try their best to pay as much attention to the details as possible, so that the flick looks plausible. Sometimes hundreds or even thousands of people work on one project. But despite all that, it’s impossible for them to take into account every tiny detail. It’s good if the blooper is small like an accidentally misplaced interior item. However, sometimes bigger mishaps appear during the filmmaking process that actually very few people are able to notice.
Not only does Bright Side editorial like to watch movies, but we also like to highlight slightly noticeable and obvious bloopers. Here are the ones that ended up on our list.
1. Arrival (2016)
In the scene, where Ian (Jeremy Renner) covers Louise (Amy Adams) with a blanket, viewers can notice it clinging to something. Since the action takes place in an open field, we think that it was probably a microphone that a “boom-operator” was holding using a special stand.
2. Jurassic Park (1993)
The moment when the velociraptor is opening the kitchen door, you can notice one of the crew member’s hands appear behind the door molding holding the raptor’s right side. Perhaps that’s how they had to keep the mannequin balanced.
3. Forrest Gump (1994)
The “Apple” company only held an IPO (public offering) in 1980 which means that there was only an opportunity to invest in it at that moment. The scene in the movie takes place sometime between 1974-1976 when Forrest gets a letter from Apple Computers. In the scene, he says that he has already invested funds in “some kind of fruit company.”
4. Iron Man (2008)
Tony Stark is working at the computer and there is a mug sitting next to him that is turned upside down. You can understand it because the graphic that says “Stark” is upside-down. When the camera shows the close-up mug in the actor’s hand, it is already in the right position.
5. Kate & Leopold (2001)
In the episode where Darci (Natasha Lyonne) is coming up to the elevator to press the button, it can be clearly seen that she intentionally puts her index finger several inches to the right.
6. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Peter Parker (Tom Holland) are in the spaceship discussing the seriousness of the situation, the frame changes, and it can be clearly seen how both the background and Spider-Man’s hairdo change.
7. Horrible Bosses 2 (2014)
Dr. Julia Harris (Jennifer Aniston) enters the room wearing trousers. After a little while, all the participants of the scene are sitting on chairs and we can see that Julia is now wearing pantyhose.
8. That Awkward Moment (2014)
It’s all about the scene where Ellie (Imogen Poots) is sitting in the cafe and talking to Jason (Zac Efron). At some moment, viewers might notice that the reflection in the window doesn’t coincide with their head movements. It’s obvious that several frames were laid on top of one another.
9. Tesla (2020)
According to the plot, the characters are in an open field during a storm. However, during lightning strikes, the shadow of the actors is cast on the wall. This scene was probably filmed in a studio, rather than outdoors.
10. The Gentlemen (2019)
Rosalind (Michelle Dockery) goes from the car to the garage and the camera shows her feet in Louboutins. When she leaves the office and her husband (Matthew McConaughey) watches her, she is wearing different shoes.
How often do you notice bloopers while watching movies? How do you relate to these mistakes?
