We’re still not “grown-ups” who have to make all the important decisions, meaning that we’re not conscious about the consequences of our actions, and that is exactly what gave our parents the chills.

Once I was playing with my friends trying to climb a tree. All of them made it but me bc I just felt so bad I couldn't get up again ?
