5 Products That Can Combat Wrinkles No Worse Than Beauty Injections

Plastic surgery, botox, and “beauty injections” — people do all sorts of things to stay young. And if you’re not ready for such drastic measures, the world still has as a wide range of products that can make you look younger.
Bright Side has made a list of cool products with powerful anti-aging effects that can be used both separately and together with cremes and serums. Before you buy any of these products, you should consult your cosmetologist and find out if you can and should use them. Additionally, before you use them, test them on a small area of your skin.
1. Argireline aka acetyl
Argireline is a peptide so it penetrates the skin slightly and stimulates certain processes in it. It is often referred to as a competitor of botox because the effect it has is very similar. The peptide relaxes the facial muscles but doesn’t block them. Argireline is not toxic and it gets removed by the body but the effect is accumulative. And the products with a high concentration of the peptide have a very quick effect.
2. Snake venom peptide
This peptide is called snake venom because it has a similar effect. Just like snake venom and Argireline, it relaxes the muscles, stops spasms and as a result, flattens small and medium wrinkles. There are a lot of botox-effect cremes based on this peptide.
3. Matrixyl
Matrixyl or Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 is also a peptide. It makes the skin regenerate and produce its own collagen and hyaluronic acid. Cosmetics with this peptide help to reverse the signs of aging. It can be bought both separately and as an ingredient in different serums.
4. Snail slime extract
Cosmetic products with snail slime extract have a regenerating effect, they flatten the skin, moisturize it, make it a little lighter and remove signs of acne. These products also mimic wrinkles a but not as deep and help the skin to heal.
5. Antioxidants
Antioxidants are also called preservatives because they slow down the aging process. The more antioxidants a product has, the better. That’s because they increase the effects of each other. Here’s a list of the most effective antioxidants:
- Vitamin C makes the face color more homogeneous, stops inflammation, and helps to synthesize collagen.
- Grape seed extract is a powerful antioxidant that helps with the production of collagen and elastin.
- Green tea extract restores the damaged cells and stops inflammation.
- Zinc increases the production of collagen and combats skin aging.
- Tocopherol (vitamin E) stimulates regeneration and has a lifting effect. It also makes the skin a little lighter.
- Retinol (vitamin A) increases the production of collagen and combats wrinkles and skin aging.
-
Pomegranate extract helps to slow down aging.
