The last point about checking the bathrooms is important and very true.
The biggest problem I've run into as of the past few years, is a workforce that has few to no marketable skills and an inflated since of worth. I am currently in HR, but my previous career for 32 years was in hospitality. The talent pool across the board in several industries is suffering from a lack of marketable basic skills as simple as good customer service. It is also hampered by the over inflated since of self worth that many entering into the job market for the first or second job have. Ive learned that the untrained and poorly skilled believe they deserve a high level pay while exhibiting very little skill set or knowledge of the position they have applied for. You have to prove you can do the job to get the pay the job is worth. Not get payed for a position you are unqualified and unable to perform.
When they invite you just to tell you that they worked for your dad’s company and got dismissed unfairly. I never heard back.
