Primates are generally omnivores. So they need some meat. Most vegans do NOT balance their diets properly, relying on carbs and fats to fill them up. They do not get enough protein. How the body reacts to lack of a balanced diet is often fatique.

Many years ago I tried eating absolutely no animal products, I made sure that I ate a good selection of fruits, seeds, nuts and vegetables, after six months of actually enjoying the change, I woke up one morning with a single thought in my mind, "rump steak". As soon as the shops were open, I was out the door to find the biggest, freshest steak I could find.

Veganism only good for cleaning yourself like fasting period, but it's definitely not great as a lifestyle. Unless you are like torturing yourself.
