That's a really helpful article. I have a friend who works in the HR team of a company and he once told me, "man, always wear black and grey or blue to be on the safe side". I always follow that rule ever since. ?

If you want to be creative it's better to do it with your ideas during the job interview, I don't believe a hiring manager would care much about a fashion icon-style (only if you are applying for a position in the fashion industry).

I would hire someone based on the skill set, and ultimately, that's how you can see if they will really fit in. That guy might just be wearing a suit just to look good on the conversation
