Josh Cyganik, a Union Pacific railroad inspector, overheard a bunch of teens making fun of a senior citizen’s house. The railroad inspector decided to do something about it.
The railroad inspector overheard teens say, ’Look at this crappy house, they just need to burn it down.’
He asked his Facebook friends to help renovate the house by posting a status about it.
So I was at work a couple weeks ago and I heard 2 teenage boys walking by this old man’s house. The said loud enough for me to hear ’looks at his crappy house, they just need to burn it down.’ So I’m asking if anyone that wants to help this Saturday volunteer their time to help paint this gentlemen’s house!
The support was unbelievable. There were volunteers who came from Texas, Washington, and California.
’I stopped counting at ninety-five volunteers, but everyone showed up excited and willing to help.’
’I am not a hero. I was raised to respect the people who came before you, to help others out who don’t have much’, says Josh.
Here is the final result.
Bright Side is confident that our world exists because of people like Josh.
