The Traumatic Reason Why Jennifer Aniston Struggles in Relationships, “It’s Still a Challenge”
Despite excelling in almost every aspect of her life, the Friends and The Morning Show star confessed that her love life is the sole area where she faces some insufficiency. Let’s understand why.
In a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston got candid about her love life. She admitted that this is the only area that’s a little lacking and attributed this “challenge” to her parents’ relationship dynamics.
Referring to her parents, Nancy Dow and John Aniston, she said, “Watching my family’s relationship didn’t make me kind of go, ’Oh, I can’t wait to do that.’” Nancy and John got divorced when she was a kid.
She continued, “It was always a little bit difficult for me in relationships, I think, because I really was kind of alone. I didn’t like the idea of sacrificing who you were or what you needed, so I didn’t really know how to do that. It was almost easier to just be kind of solo. So I didn’t have any real training in that give-and-take.”
The actress, who is actively striving to “not be afraid to say what you need and what you want,” also mentioned, “It’s still a challenge for me in a relationship.”
Jennifer has entered the realm of marriage twice; her initial union was with Brad Pitt, lasting from 2000 to 2005. Following that, she tied the knot with Justin Theroux in 2015. Despite their separation in 2018, the former pair have managed to maintain an amicable relationship.
