Alopecia is NOT caused by tight braids or hairstyles. It is a medical condition were the immune system attacks hair follicles all over the body, cause hair loss in patches and large quantities. Please do proper research before writing articles.

Yeah, I got kind of confused when I read that because someone I know has Alopecia, and I knew it wasn't caused by tight braids. and... I braid my hair tightly very often

I guess if you wear too tight hairdos they can damage your hair and the roots, so it can cause baldness too
