How this night-light works: The lamp is powered by 3 AA batteries. The base of the lamp is filled with crystals that create a shimmering effect. While the night-light works, it is constantly changing its color between red, purple, blue, green, and yellow.

I bought this fiber optic lamp for my toddler last Christmas. He loves it. It is good quality and shines brightly in a dark room. The lamp changes color, ranging from single colors to multiple at the same time. The base changes color as well as the fibers. The batteries seem to last a decent amount of time in the lamp. 3 x AAs are needed. There is an on/off switch underneath the base of the lamp. You cannot pause it on a certain color, it runs seamlessly through a color display. I would recommend this lamp. @Judith P.

Wonderful, highly recommended. I bought this lamp for my 13-year-old, who was having trouble sleeping as she was restless and found it difficult to calm down. “Wow” is all I’ve got to say! She has gone from staying awake until 2 a.m. to falling asleep within 30 minutes. Thank you so much. The lamp is sturdy, the perfect size for a bedside lamp, and uses batteries that seem to be lasting a while so far. The effect is really lovely, the colors are beautiful, and it is really pleasant to gently run your hands across it and see it move. The lamp is steady as the base is heavy enough without it being too heavy. It is the perfect level of brightness. It’s very portable as it’s powered by batteries. The only thing that could make it better would be if it were possible to set it for an hour, for example, as my daughter often falls asleep before turning it off. @I love my Nanny June xx
