It is almost impossible to get a compliment in this day and time. Despite that, there are some people who have received “compliments” that made their jaws drop, but not necessarily out of happiness. Instead, the good intentions of the person giving the compliment kind of backfired, and it’s no wonder: if you tell someone that they have anime eyes, that their perfume reminds you of burnt marshmallows, or that you are falling in love with their grandmother glasses, they might have a good reason to run. Just yesterday, my 7 years old daughter told me : “ Mom, you’re the most beautiful mom ever... Ok...maybe not the most beautiful but the nicest”. Huh...thanks I guess ? ??

This girl and I were on an international intern trip... one day we were sitting next to each other when I noticed she was staring at me. I looked over and she started screaming how beautiful my eye colours are... she made strangers stop and look...so embarrassed!

I have some type of Heterochromia... but not the really cool kind. My eyes start with blue on the outside and then are very green and right by the iris is brown.

my young son heard me complain about my big butt. he looked straight at me and said, "mom, you don't have a big butt! its just wide!". i couldn't help but laugh
