15 People Who Dared to Do What They Wanted, and the Whole World Applauded Them for It
We all know that it’s important to listen to our heart and do what it tells us to. But we rarely dare do this because of various circumstances and excuses. Whether it’s losing weight or getting vaccinated, the characters in our compilation are the ones who ventured to do what they wanted and never looked back.
We at Bright Side admire such people and encourage you to follow your heart more often. But until then, let’s take a look at the achievements of the people featured in our article.
“I decided to finally get vaccinated behind my anti-vax parents’ back!”
“Our son has Asperger’s and went out of his comfort zone to play the Mad Hatter.”
“I always hid it, but now I want to share with you my birthmark in the center of my forehead.”
The first pic was taken on February 21, and the second, on October 23.
3 years and too many pounds to count
Before and after dental veneers, weight loss, and self-care (over the course of 3 months)!
“My grandad dyed his hair purple to amuse himself and others.”
“Decided to redecorate my office space.”
“That’s how I went from 195 lb to 127 lb.”
“From June to November, I reached my goal weight and grew my hair back. Now I’m generally happier with where I am in life!”
“Same shorts but a different person — I went from 210 lb to 160 lb over a 9-month period.”
“I dared to spend 4 days camping out in the remote Algerian Sahara. I took a million photos but this was one of my favorites.”
“My results with facial exercise to avoid cosmetic surgery”
“I manually pulled weeds for several hours and personally apologized to every critter and rehoused them into the yard.”
“100 lb down in 2 years! I’ve never been more proud of myself.”
Bonus: It’s not only humans we should applaud...
What has your biggest achievement been this year so far? Please tell us about it in the comments!

I kinda envy those people who are not scared of dyeing their hair any color they want, so cool!
why? What's up with doing that for you? :)
I have always wanted to dye my hair platinum blonde but I'm so scared of it, what if it won't match or my hair get damaged you know..
well they will grow back, not a big deal, I mean.. at least you will know how it looks and just do what you liked
I'm scared the most that it won't look good on me and everything will go to waste
there are many phone apps that let you try different hairstyles, you just need to upload you photo
of just use photoshop instead
hm.. actually I haven't thought about this at all ?
The person who change its office space did a great job, what a big change!
Totally! It makes it feel like working haha
Yeah and now even more with this home-office thing going on
The guy who lost weight and let his hair grow looks pretty cool! Keep it up whoever you are ??
