Just like us, the actors that gave life to our favorite characters have a special place for these iconic roles in their hearts.

3. Bryan Cranston and Hal Wilkerson from Malcolm in the Middle

In 2020, the talented cast of Malcolm in the Middle got together in a video call to read the pilot of the beloved TV series. The reunion helped celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the series premiere, and Bryan Cranston wrote on his Instagram, “Thanks for embracing that crazy family of mine.”

Sometimes playing a character for so long leads actors to find a family in their co-stars. This definitely happened to Selena Gomez and the cast of Wizards of Waverly Place. In 2017, Gomez uploaded some heartwarming pictures of David Henrie’s wedding with a caption that read, “Very much in my feelings about my big brother getting married. Even though we for sure knew it would be him first.”

This year, the actress talked about the time when her grandson discovered she played the iconic Mary Poppins and how that was a cute bonding moment between them. “He gave me a knowing look. Like, I know what you do.”

7. Christa Allen and Jenna Rink from 13 Going on 30

“I want to be 30, flirty, and thriving,” were the magic words Jenna repeated in her head in the iconic movie. Now, the actress that played Jenna in her teens reflects on how it was for her to grow up.

“For those of us closer to 30. It got better, didn’t it? I am certainly kinder to myself now than I was back then. I wish I could give younger me about 700 hugs and tell her things would get easier,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
