The world of entertainment is filled with famous twins, whether it’s Dylan and Cole Sprouse or Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Twins just seem to have that star quality. In fact, there are many celebrities you may not have even guessed actually have a twin brother or sister.

We at Bright Side are putting the spotlight on celebrities you never knew had a twin sibling, both identical and fraternal.

10. Vin Diesel and Paul Vincent

Vin Diesel and Paul Vincent are twin brothers who might not look alike, but you can tell that they are close. Diesel based his stage name “Vin” off his brother’s name. His birth name is Mark Sinclair. The 2 were raised by their stepfather with 2 other siblings.

9. Gisele and Patricia Bündchen

Gisele Bündchen is a Brazilian supermodel and the wife of New England Patriot Tom Brady. Her looks are not as unique as we thought: she has a twin sister: Patricia! The 2 actually come from a family of 6 sisters!

8. Michael and Ashton Kutcher

Michael and Ashton Kutcher are twins, but their mother thought she was only having one child due to a difference in size. Ashton was over 10 pounds when he was born and Michael was only 4 pounds and over-oxygenated. Over the years, Michael was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and underwent a heart transplant as a teenager. Michael now spends his time as a motivational speaker, spreading awareness for organ donations.

7. Willow and Autumn Shields

Despite actually being fraternal twin sisters, Willow and Autumn Shields still look a lot alike. Both girls are actresses. Willow is probably best known for playing Primrose Everdeen in The Hunger Games. Autumn appears in more indie-type movies. Their brother, River Shields, is also an actor.

6. Giovanni and Marissa Ribisi

Sneaky Pete actor Giovanni Ribisi and actress Marissa Ribisi are twin brother and sister. Show business is in their blood: their mother is a manager, their father is a musician, and their sister Gina is an actress.

5. Tasha and Sidra Smith

Actress Tasha Smith and her twin sister Sidra are from Camden, New Jersey. Sidra is a former model who mostly works as a film producer. She also created the New York event planning business, Gate Pass Entertainment. Tasha and Sidra actually appeared together in the film, Twin Sitters, their first movie role.

4. Jose and Ozzie Canseco

Former professional baseball player Jose Canseco has a twin brother named Ozzie. Reportedly, Ozzie often subbed in for his brother’s autograph signings, but switching places sometimes backfired. In 2011, Ozzie almost took his brother’s place during a planned celebrity boxing show. Unfortunately, eagle-eyed fans noticed the men had different tattoos, causing the fight to be canceled.

3. Linda Hamilton and Leslie Hamilton Gearren

Actress Linda Hamilton has a twin sister, Leslie Hamilton Gearren. Leslie mostly works as a nurse in real life. However, when Linda needed a double for scenes in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Leslie stepped in to help. Funnily enough, another pair of twins, Don Stanton and Dan Stanton, played doubles in the same film.

2. Shawn and Aaron Ashmore

Shawn and Aaron Ashmore are identical twin brothers — both of whom are actors. Shawn is known for playing Iceman in the X-Men film series and the Animorphs television show. Aaron is known for his roles on shows like Killjoys, Smallville, and Warehouse 13. The brothers often appear on each other’s shows when a double is needed for their characters.

1. Rami and Sami Malek

Rami Malek and his twin brother, Sami, are identical twins who are only a few minutes apart. While Rami is an Emmy award-winning actor, Sami works as a teacher in Los Angeles. Like in any good sitcom, Rami claims that they did switch places when they were younger, once even for a school assignment.

Can you believe that some of your favorite stars come in pairs? Do you think these twins should find ways to team up more often? Share what you think in the comments!
