4.5 Million Flowers Start Blooming All at Once and Turn a Japanese Park Into a Fairytale Garden (20 Pics)

Japan is known for its sakura blossoms, but that is not the only pretty thing it has to offer. The view of the park in Ibaraki gets a lot of attention too, because it looks like a garden full of fairies. And there are about 4.5 million blooming flowers that make for the most gorgeous view and the best location for photos.

The blue flower blanket covers the Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki. These flowers that have the nickname “baby blue eyes” blossom in late April and then gradually lose their color.

The flowers can be found all over Japan, but it is the Hitachi Seaside Park where they are most popular. Every year, over 4 million tiny little flowers cover the park and create a nice view that attracts a lot of people. One of the best vantage points to see the flowers is a spot called Miharashi Hill.

Since there are a lot of flowers and it is a huge park, it is nearly impossible to take the perfect pic that covers it all. This magical place is only a train ride away from Tokyo.
