17 Unspoken Rules of Etiquette We Should Remember

Many things in our lives are regulated by rules of etiquette. But there are minor things that many of us forget about sometimes that cause unpleasant reactions in those around us. At the same time, we can avoid fights by just saying a couple of nice words or doing something simple.
At Bright Side, we decided to find out which of our little quirks irritate others. And how we can change our behavior to please everyone.
1. Unplugging someone else’s phone from the charger, to plug in your own

2. Changing TV channels without asking

3. Waking everyone up with your alarm clock

4. Keeping the lights on when everyone else is asleep
5. Changing the room temperature without asking others

6. Chatting on the phone when others are watching a movie

7. Scattering your dirty laundry all over the house

8. Leaving dirty dishes on the table

9. Grabbing others’ food without asking

10. Trying to get a good spot, even if you’re late

11. Bringing your dog along without asking the party hosts

12. Pushing your way through a packed elevator without waiting for your turn to leave

13. Feeding and petting someone else’s animal without permission

14. Leaving a cup with an unfinished drink and then complaining that it was taken away

15. Staying in the toilet for a long time

16. Walking around in dirty shoes while the other person is cleaning

17. Leaving dirty dishes for the morning
