Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler can always count on each other no matter how tough life gets. This duo has managed to build and sustain one of the most genuine and longest friendships in Hollywood, which is a rarity. And recently, Sandler looked back at their bond and opened up about the rare qualities that make Aniston a truly amazing human being, and his words gave us goosebumps.
During an interview with both stars, the 56-year-old comedian recalled the first time he met the Friends star many decades ago. He shared, ’’We had breakfast together, and I thought she was funny as hell.’’
He added that they met a few times afterward and each time, ’’she made me happy when I’d see her.’’
Adam continued to praise Jennifer, noting that she ’’knows what to say’’ and ’’knows how to calm you down.’’
In her turn, Jennifer also gushed over her good pal, who has remained true to himself throughout the years. She noted, ’’He’s just exactly who he is and has been since I’ve met him.’’ Aniston went on to add that they both ’’trust each other’’ and truly enjoy each other’s company.
The 54-year-old also pointed out the cornerstones of their solid connection, sharing, ’’We have each other’s back. We take care of each other. Neutral, deep respect for each other.’’
Besides getting along so well on a personal level, these 2 stars also have a history of making movies together. They first co-starred in Just Go With It back in 2011, followed by Murder Mystery in 2019.
And 4 years later, they made the sequel Murder Mystery 2 which recently came out on Netflix.
The pair had to go to different locations to shoot the movie, including Hawaii, Paris, and a castle, and they were grateful to have been on this exciting journey together.
Sandler noted ’’Every day, we had a great time. And between takes, when we hang out at the trailers, I always laugh and have a nice time.’’ He humorously added that there’s another bonus to hanging out together, saying, ’’And my dog and Jen get along pretty good.’’
