Bon Jovi openly shares his feelings about his son’s engagement to Millie Bobby Brown, who is 19 years old. The famous rock star himself met his sweetheart in high school when he was 18, and they have been happily married for 34 years.
In a recent interview on the radio, the famous musician was asked if he had any worries about his 20-year-old son, Jake, deciding to marry a 19-year-old actress from Stranger Things.
Jon responded by saying, “I don’t know if age matters.” He further explained, “If you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise.”
The singer of the famous song It’s My Life has been married to his partner Dorothea Hurley for over 30 years. They first met in high school and married in a secret ceremony at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in 1989.
In the previous month, Jake got down on one knee and asked Millie to marry him, presenting her with a beautiful diamond ring that experts estimate to be worth between $75,000 to $150,000.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing a black and white photo of Jake hugging his fiancée behind while she proudly shows off her remarkable ring.
Millie captioned the picture with the words, “I’ve loved you 3 summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
