Hugh Jackman Was Seen in Good Company on His First Birthday Without His Wife

Hugh Jackman is single and ready to... enjoy his birthday! The Wolverine actor was photographed out and about and seemed to be in good spirits while surrounded by a couple special people.

Hugh Jackman seems to be taking well his new life as a single man, since he announced his split from his wife of 27 years in September 2023. He spent his 55th birthday, or at least part of it, celebrated on October 12, 2023, in the company of celebrity besties Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

The famous trio was seen casually chatting and strolling through the streets of New York City during daytime. Jackman even made sure to show support to Reynold’s sporting ventures by wearing a hat of his pal’s Welsh soccer team, Wrexham A.F.C.

The group has been friends for years and this isn’t the first time they’re seen hanging out away from public events. However, Jackman and Reynolds, who are currently shooting Deadpool 3 together, seem to have grown even closer since Jackman’s split from Deborra-Lee.

This beautiful friendship started with Jackman and Reynolds meeting in 2009 on the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Since then, the two have been in a public (fake) feud that has created many online memes, culminating with Reynolds wearing a mask of Jackman’s face in the first installment of Deadpool.

Hugh Jackman has also been spending quality time with his family. In August, he celebrated one of his sisters on Instagram, with a selfie of the two. Immediately, people took to social media to point out how much they resemble each other.
