In a recent interview, Jennifer Garner, a mother of three and a busy actress and business owner, shared her approach to avoiding “panic” and “guilt” as a working mom. Garner emphasized her intention to manage her responsibilities “from a place of expansiveness” instead of getting overwhelmed as a parent.

“We’re told constantly, ‘You have 18 summers. You have this much time. Time is fleeting,’ and it makes you panic,” she said.

The 51-year-old 13 Going on 30 star described her efforts to be present and have a “great time” with her three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck. Garner credited her grounded perspective to the wisdom of her mother, Patricia Ann Garner, who always reassured her that she could balance her job and motherhood effectively.

Jennifer Garner’s role as an actress is complemented by her business venture as the co-founder of Once Upon a Farm, an organic, fresh baby food company. She mentioned how her children eagerly participate in taste-testing the products, demonstrating their enthusiasm and involvement in her work.

Despite her separation from Ben Affleck in 2015, the former couple has successfully co-parented their children. In 2019, Affleck expressed his dedication to being a “good dad” to Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, acknowledging Garner’s significant support in their co-parenting efforts. Even in 2022, Jennifer Lopez, who is now married to Affleck, praised the exes for their amicable dynamic and their ability to work well together.
