Rihanna is officially a mother of two! The singer, along with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed baby number two together and the gender of the child has finally been revealed.

Rihanna kept the birth of the baby under wraps for nearly a month, as sources close to the hitmaker confirm the baby arrived on August 3, 2023. But that’s not all! It was also disclosed that the baby is a boy.

Although the name is yet unknown, it is believed it starts with the letter “R”, just like the name of the newborn’s older brother, RZA Athelston Mayers, who was born on May 13, 2022.

The 35-year-old announced her second pregnancy in February 2023, during her Super Bowl halftime show. She kickstarted the iconic performance with a close-up of her face, only for the camera to then back away and show her already huge baby bump, stunning millions of viewers live.

Rihanna shares both kids with A$AP Rocky, who she has been dating since early 2020, and has made it clear she loves being a mother.

“Oh, my God, it’s legendary,” she said in an interview. “It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever. You literally try to remember it—and there are photos of my life before—but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far. Because it doesn’t matter.”
