Why J. Lo’s Kids Have Stopped Talking to Her, and Nannies Would Quit in a Week

Jennifer Lopez talked about being a mom and how raising teenagers is difficult. She wants the best for her kids, but there are things that parents can find difficult. Like when your kids don’t want to talk to you, which even happened to the famous mom, Jennifer Lopez.

J. Lo’s kids are twins.

In 2008, Jennifer became a mom to twins: a daughter named Emme Maribel Muñiz and a son named Maximilian “Max” David Muñiz. When this happened, she was married to an American singer and actor named Mark Anthony. They got married in 2004, but after 7 years, they decided to end their marriage in 2011. They had many problems in their relationship, and despite Jennifer’s efforts to make things work, they officially requested a divorce in 2014.

She has specific and high standards when choosing nannies.

Even though Jennifer was willing to pay a lot of money, she had a hard time finding a nanny. She was looking for someone who could work very long hours, every day without any time off. She also wanted only one nanny to take care of both her kids. However, all the nannies she hired ended up quitting within a week because the work conditions were too difficult to handle.

Her kids are not fond of her being famous.

Lopez explains, “They love having a famous mother, and they don’t. I think they’re very proud. They love me, I love them.”

There was a time when she wanted to go to the market with her twins, but they responded, “It’s such a thing when you go, Mom.” This comment deeply saddened her. She also mentions that her kids want to spend time with their friends without being observed, tracked, or photographed.

They don’t want to talk to her anymore.

J. Lo describes her 15-year-old twins’ actions by saying, “It’s all necessary, and intellectually, I understand it, but my heart, my heart hurts.”

She also notes that her kids don’t see her as cool as her fans do. She shares, “I’m a very affectionate mom. I like to hug them and kiss them a lot, always talking to them sweet and everything. Now they’re like, ’Mom, no. Don’t get out of the car at school.’”

Her new marriage with Ben was also difficult.

Jennifer remembers her recent marriage to Ben Affleck was tough for her children. She said that managing the situation required careful attention, stating, “The transition is a process that must be handled carefully. They have so many feelings. They’re teens. But it’s going really well so far.”
