I think that some people have enough love to have 2 or more children, plus isn't there like a sense of mortality? Like when you leave this world, where do all your priced possessions, house go to? Maybe It's because I was raised in a traditional way, but in my opinion, whatever you do, is either for the betterment of mankind, or the betterment of your children/blood line. Since most of us won't do anything remarkable, might as well leave something in this world ??

you are right, some people do have enough love for more than one, I am only advocating the thought that you do not have to have more than one, and you can even have a perfectly good life without any.

A couple things... "Happy Wife, Happy Life" is crap - "Happy Spouse, Happy House" is the way it should be, because there are two of you in this relationship, and you BOTH have to put in 100% if you want the relationship to last.

Finding the right person - Always a very good start. I dated several girls before finding the one I would marry, and we had a long-distance relationship(200 miles) for 18 months before we were engaged, and since I had the better job, she moved to where I lived, and we got married 9 months later, and have been married now for almost 15 years.

Being open and honest is also very important if you want to have a happy marriage. If you can't be open and honest with each other, if you're keeping secrets, thats just cancer for the relationship.

As far as kids go, have kids, don't have kids. But if you're having kids to try and save the marriage - DON'T, the marriage is already over. But if you do want kids, start with a dog, NOT A CAT, a dog, and not a little yapper dog either. Have that for a year. If all goes well, then have kids.
