19 Cast Reunions We’ve All Been Waiting For

According to Dr. Danielle Forshee, it’s perfectly normal for people to get attached to specific TV characters and TV shows because of the way that the human brain recognizes emotions. The closer a show is to real life and existing people, the closer viewers will feel to it. That’s why people get the most attached to sitcoms and comedy movies, since their themes are closer to regular life. In that manner, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that people crave to see their favorite shows back on the air or at least their stars reunited even for a short period of time.

Bright Side would like to remind you of some of the most highly expected film and TV series’ cast reunions, even if they happened for just a few minutes.

1. Pretty Woman — 1990 vs 2015

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere met on The Today Show back in March 2015 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their iconic film. They even shared a kiss to show people that they still have love for one another.

2. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants — 2005 vs 2018

America Ferrera, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn never stopped hanging out after their 2005 film. They all often share images from their time spent together, showing that they are much more than just past co-stars.

3. Parks and Recreation — 2009 vs 2018

Natalie Morales met with her Parks and Recreation co-stars in 2018 at a rally against gun violence where they shared the happy event. 4. Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) — 2011 vs 2017

5. Ugly Betty — 2006 vs 2018

In 2016, the iconic film was re-made, only this time with an all-female cast, including Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. At the premiere of the film, the old all-male cast attended, having a reunion 32 years after the original Ghostbusters was released.

9. Trainspotting — 1996 vs 2017

21 years after the first film, Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, and Robert Carlyle met up again to continue their dirty business by making a second film. They felt good coming back together and their fans loved seeing them like this after all these years.

10. Matilda — 1996 vs 2013

There isn’t a person that grew up during the 80s and 90s that hasn’t seen Matilda multiple times. The entire cast of the film met back in 2013 and it was amazing to see how much they’ve changed since 1996.

11. Titanic — 1997 vs 2017

20 years after the release of Titanic, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Billy Zane met again at an awards show and shared a moment. Also, Winslet and DiCaprio have shown many times that they are still very good friends and they care a lot about each other.

Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Robert Duvall and Francis Ford Coppola had a Godfather reunion back in 2017 at the Tribeca Film Festival for a celebratory screening of the film for its 45th anniversary. Too bad that the reunion didn’t happen when Marlon Brando was still alive.

16. The Help — 2011 vs 2017

Which TV show’s cast would you like to see reunited and their show brought back on the air? Please share your opinions down in the comment section.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s life is filled with intriguing anecdotes. Named after Leonardo da Vinci, he faced early career challenges due to his unique name. Despite battling Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, he’s made significant environmental contributions, like purchasing an island for an eco-resort. His personal life, including a consistent dating pattern and acts of kindness like supporting the last living Titanic survivor, adds layers to his enigmatic persona.
