Shoulder pads, velvet dresses, combat boots, tracksuits, and neon colors — fashion in the ‘90s spewed out a whole bunch of cool trends that are still inspiring to many of us, including celebrities who like to throw it back to past decades now and then. And even though some of those stars grew up after the ‘90s fashion era ended, they’ve somehow managed to wear these old trends with style and taste, making them look fresh again.

Or you know, some 80s, 70s, 60s, even a little 40s maybe with some patterns. I think people maybe style things a bit differently but many of these did not originate in the 90s, or spilled over from the 80s. My mom is 65 and said in many eras it was not “cool” to wear clothes from the previous decade or two before. But I am unsure when “vintage” was acceptable, considering the distinctness of the eras she has lived through until things came back around. Honestly some of the patterns in the 90s even went back much further than the 60s... prairie dresses obviously much much earlier in our history. I did like some of these outfits though, even if I personally wouldn’t wear the same shoes their stylists chose.
