“I Can’t Wait to See Myself Old,” Pamela Anderson Refuses to Do Anything “Crazy” to Prevent Her Aging

year ago

Pamela Anderson’s sex symbol status has prioritized her looks in our minds for decades. But now that she’s turned 55, the famous model talks about embracing getting older naturally and offers words of wisdom for anyone who’s afraid of aging.

She’s so much more than her beauty.

With the release of her docuseries, Pamela has been dominating our social media feeds. The ’90s bombshell is finally taking the narrative into her own hands and showing us a side of her we’ve never seen before. If you didn’t know, Anderson is a woman of many talents: she’s a writer, an active PETA supporter, a dancer.

Pamela herself admits that despite being crowned a beauty icon of her time, she’s always been quite humble about her looks: “I never felt like I was any kind of great beauty, ever, no. Just a little funny-looking.” Still, it must be flattering to hold the record for the most Playboy covers of all time.

She welcomes aging with open arms.

In a recent interview, the Baywatch star shared her outlook on getting older and admitted it’s something that she’s really excited about: “I can’t wait to see myself old. I always said I’d recognize myself when I was old in the mirror. I want to let my hair go kind of natural gray, put my little straw hat on, not wear makeup. I mean, that’s my comfortable kind of state.”

Anderson explained that despite being in the public eye, she’s not obsessed about looking younger than she is and won’t interfere with the natural way of things: “A lot of women that kind of are these classic beauties have a really hard time with aging. I don’t think it’s as hard for me and I don’t want to chase that, and I don’t want to do all the crazy [stuff] to myself.”

She rejected cosmetic surgery a while back.

Everyone probably remembers that one of the major reasons for Pamela’s modeling success in the ’90s was her breast augmentation. But what not many people know is that, in 1999, Anderson reversed it, and to this day remains a natural beauty.

In addition, Pamela admitted to trying Botox before but realized it wasn’t for her: “I am the last person to try Botox, but I did. I felt like my eyes sunk into my head so far that I didn’t look like me anymore! I’m not into all that stuff.”
