Why did Harry break the Elder Wand?

In one of the final scenes of the franchise, Harry breaks and throws away the Elder wand, one of the most powerful wands in the world. But why destroy something this strong if the war is over? And in the book, Harry returns the wand to Dumbledore’s tomb.

The wand is quite dangerous: it does many bad things in the wizarding world. Maybe Harry from the film is more intelligent than Harry from the book, and he decided to rid wizards of the temptation of using the wand again.

Was Hagrid in Slytherin?

When Hagrid was accused of opening the Chamber of Secrets, his wand was broken. So, it seems logical that those sentenced to Azkaban should have wands broken too. Or at least those that got a life sentence, like Bellatrix and Sirius. But, somehow, they get their wands back after they escape.

Why does Voldemort wear muggle clothes?

In one of the scenes of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Voldemort, who hates everything that has to do with muggles, wears a business suit. It’s as if Dumbledore was wearing a tutu.

But this shot was only in the main character’s mind, so we’re not entirely sure the wizard was wearing muggle clothes. Maybe he was trying to scare Harry this way?

Maybe it was because very young parents would look quite odd next to an 11-year-old son. Or was it just Harry’s wish for his parents to be with him? By the time he was 11, Lilly and James might have looked like that.
