Under the watchful eye of the public, paparazzi, and fans, it’s hard to keep almost anything a secret if you are a famous person. For obvious reasons, pregnancy is one of the most challenging things to hide. However, celebs on this list turned out to be experts at protecting their privacy during such a sensitive time.

Bright Side brings you a list of celebrity couples who managed to ’’sneak’’ their babies unnoticed into this world. And who knows, maybe your favorite celebrity is on the list.

1. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

Timberlake and Biel, who are also parents to son Silas Randall, quietly welcomed another baby boy into their family in 2020. However, Biel later clarified that this secrecy was not intentional.

2020 was a year she spent with her husband at home, and the baby ’’simply happened,’’ Biel said. “It wasn’t like it was supposed to be a secret. I went to Montana with my family and never left.” Biel gave birth during the summer of 2020, though Timberlake didn’t publicly confirm the news until January.

2. Alexis Bledel

If you watched Gilmore Girls until the end of the series, then it won’t come as a surprise that Rory Gilmore is a mom. But the actress who plays Rory Gilmore, Alexis Bledel, is a mom in real life too. In 2012, she began dating Vincent Kartheiser, her co-star on Mad Men. The following year, they got engaged and secretly married in 2014.

In the fall of 2015, the couple welcomed a baby boy. However, nobody knew the couple had a baby until a whole year after the boy was born. Scott Patterson, Bledel’s Gilmore Girls co-star, spilled the beans to the media.

3. Scarlett Johansson

Even her fans didn’t know that the beautiful actress was the mother of an adorable 7-year-old girl, Rose Dorothy Dauriac, whom she shares with her now ex-husband, Romain Dauriac. The stunning actress had managed to pull the ’’hidden pregnancy’’ trick again with her new baby, a boy she and her current husband, Colin Jost, named Cosmo. She fiercely shelters her kids from the media and the general public, which is one of the reasons why Johansson doesn’t have any social media accounts.

4. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, one of today’s most well-liked Hollywood couples, secretly welcomed a baby girl in September 2019. They kept the newborn’s arrival a secret for 2 months before different outlets began to spread the news about the baby’s birth. According to sources close to the couple, “They do everything they can to make sure [the kids] have a normal upbringing.” Lively and Reynolds also share 2 other daughters, 7-year-old James, and 5-year-old Inez.

5. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen, the couple who’s famous for avoiding the spotlight, have 3 children together. When Fisher was pregnant with their third, the only way the public found out they were expecting a child was when Fisher gave up on her role in Now You See Me 2. The only confirmation that their baby had entered the world happened when the no-longer-pregnant Fisher attended a party in April 2015.

6. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling do such a good job keeping their private life away from the public that we almost forgot they were together. Just like with their first pregnancy with daughter Esmeralda, Mendes and Gosling succeeded in keeping their second pregnancy a secret.

She kept her first pregnancy under wraps for several months, and the second one was a secret almost until her due date. The couple didn’t make a big announcement when their daughters were born, and there were definitely no magazine covers.

7. Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix

The Hollywood couple who are notoriously private has managed to keep Mara’s pregnancy a secret for an astonishing 6 months. The couple refused to comment on the rumors, even after the actress was spotted several times wearing baggy clothes in an attempt to conceal her baby bump. There were no official announcements, and the couple publicly commented on becoming first-time parents sometime after Mara gave birth. This is the couple’s first child, who they named after Joaquin’s late brother, River.

8. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green

Fox didn’t just keep her pregnancy a secret — for a short while, she kept the father a secret too. The pregnant actress showed up on a red carpet to promote her new movie in the middle of the divorce from her husband, Green. After a day of speculations, the paternity of her child was confirmed; it was actually her estranged husband, with whom she reconciled during her third pregnancy.

The pair announced they had split again in May 2020 and their divorce was finalized earlier this year. However, that didn’t stop the proud dad from sharing his joy with everyone on Instagram: ’’My wife makes beautiful babies’’ reads the caption on the picture of their youngest child.

9. Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington is known to be very secretive about her personal life. So much so that when she married Nnamdi Asomugha in 2013, no one even knew that they were dating. She kept her first pregnancy with her daughter, Isabelle, a secret until she showed up on Saturday Night Live and couldn’t conceal her baby bump anymore. But Washington made sure to tell the media that they would not be seeing photos of Isabelle anytime soon.

When she was pregnant with her son Caleb in October 2016, she barely talked about her pregnancy at all and declined to address the rumors. Instead, Kerry kept hiding her belly with strategic fashion choices. And while we’ve seen a pregnant Washingon on many red carpet events, she and her husband have done a great job of keeping their children out of the tabloids.

10. Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead

The famous actor and father of 4 recently became a father for the fifth time. McGregor’s eldest child from his previous marriage, Clara McGregor, 25, confirmed the birth of her baby brother in an Instagram post. She congratulated her dad and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, on “the greatest gift,” which was the first time that the public found out about Winstead’s pregnancy.

11. Laura Linney

In January 2014, the news broke out that Hollywood actress Laura Linney had given birth to a baby that no one in the media knew she was expecting. She became a mom just weeks before her fiftieth birthday and called her baby boy Bennett Armistead Schauer.

She managed to keep her baby bump a secret by staying away from the cameras. She’d finalized the movie, The Fifth Estate, but arranged to do media interviews over the phone, saying she needed a little time off. She also asked Matt Damon to collect her Emmy for best actress for the US TV series, The Big C, completely avoiding the paparazzi.

12. Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias

Anna and Enrique, who have been together for over a decade, have always managed to keep things relatively low-key. In September 2018 they shocked fans when they announced that Kurnikova had given birth to twins. “They basically only hang out with family and very close friends,” the source close to the couple revealed, saying that “they mostly keep to themselves.” In February 2020, the couple surprised fans yet again by announcing the arrival of their third child, a daughter named Mary.

13. Adele

Adele was slightly more open about her pregnancy than the rest of the celebrities on this list. In June 2012, the famous singer personally announced that she was expecting in a post on her blog. Some people believe she did this to ward off the months of intrusive paparazzi and intense speculation. ’’Please respect our privacy at this precious time,’’ the singer wrote.

After that, Adele remained out of the public eye for most of her pregnancy. An anonymous source later told the press that she’d given birth to a son. The Grammy-award winner hid her pregnancy for an impressive 7 months, despite attending numerous public events. Wearing baggy clothes, avoiding the red carpet, and sneaking into events late were the key to Adele’s secret-keeping.

Honestly although if one wants to keep their baby more a secret that's no big deal but if were me I wouldn't care if people knew/or would share photos because love sharing photos...like said I understand why some keep it more private but think most people probably wouldn't mind sharing...
