15 Scenes in Famous Cartoons That Are So Similar We Had to Rub Our Eyes in Amazement

It took 800 people, 80 of whom were animators, $150 million, and 5 years to make the most recent Frozen II movie. Every little detail costs a lot of time and money, and that’s why movie creators often reuse some minor characters and details in different projects. It’s just impossible to notice all of them, but those who are obsessed with cartoons have definitely hunted for these.

Keep your eyes open wide, because there’s still so much we don’t know about our favorite cartoons, even though we’ve seen them million times. Bright Side wants to share some observations with you, and we’re hoping to shake your world with this a little.

1. One kid noticed that Pixar reused the whole landscape from Up in Cars 2.

2. In Robin Hood Disney reused quite a lot of animation, including scenes from The Jungle Book, Snow White, The Aristocats, and Alice in Wonderland.

3. Disney reused animation from Aristocats in 101 Dalmatians.

4. Check out the similarities between these scenes from Bambi and Alice in Wonderland.

5. It’s the same scene in The Aristocats and 101 Dalmatians.

6. A scene from The Sword in the Stone is also used in 101 Dalmatians. There can never be too much of an iconic moment.

7. We all know that tree. It appeared in A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, and Up.

8. Like mother, like daughter — Ariel and Meloda are identically excited in The Little Mermaid and The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea.

9. The same scene in The Jungle Book and The Rescuers.

10. It looks like half of 101 Dalmatians was a compilation of earlier cartoons. This scene, for example, is from Cinderella.

11. Almost identical scenes in Peter Pan and 101 Dalmatians.

12. Looks like Bagheera from The Jungle Book was inspired by Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in some ways.

13. Another scene that looks very familiar — The Sword in the Stone and The Black Cauldron.

14. If you’ve had a feeling you’ve seen it somewhere, you have. This scene from 101 Dalmatians very much resembles the one from Winnie the Pooh.

15. This animation is worth millions: The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad and The Jungle Book.

What’s your favorite cartoon? Have you ever noticed any scenes that were used in multiple films? Let us know in the comments, we’re eager to hear from you!
