You don’t have to spend a fortune to achieve a flawless look and perfect skin. And no one knows it better than these celebrities who have some easily affordable and pretty unusual ways to maintain their appearance. Luckily, they are ready to share the unique beauty hacks they have up their sleeves. Although some of these remedies might not be for everyone, these celebs believe they are worth trying.

1. Blake Lively

The Gossip Girl star is known for her shiny golden hair, and the secret to it can be found in your pantry. Turns out, the award-winning actress uses mayo as a hair mask.

“My mom taught me this really great beauty tip. She used to put oil or mayonnaise on the bottom half of her hair before she would shower. That way, when she would shampoo, the soap wouldn’t strip the bottom of the hair and dry it out, making it brittle,” she revealed.

2. Margot Robbie

Some of us probably have difficulty blending our foundation, and Margot Robbie knows the cheapest way to avoid it. The Birds of Prey actress uses a regular toothbrush to make her foundation look natural. “When I put on foundation, I use an eyebrow brush or toothbrush to brush it into my hairline so that it all blends. Especially because I have blonde hair but tanned skin, if I don’t blend it, it looks gross — you can see the foundation in my hair,” she said.

3. Chloë Grace Moretz

From fighting bacteria to providing deep hydration, olive oil has many benefits for your skin. No one knows it better than Chloë Grace Moretz, who swears by it.

“I dealt with really bad cystic acne growing up. I tried changing my diet and my beauty products. [Having acne problems] was a long, hard, emotional process. I wash my face with olive oil. I swear my skin is so much clearer because of it,” she shared.

4. Snooki

There are a lot of products you can use as natural exfoliants, such as oatmeal or baking soda. But Snooki found the most unusual way to keep her skin polished and radiant. Although cat litter can pose some health risks, Snooki believes it’s the most affordable way to exfoliate the skin.

“I like to Google a lot. And I don’t like to spend a lot of money on spa treatments just because I’m, like, a cheapo. So I Googled what else I could use that’s, like, not so expensive, and it was cat litter,” she said.

5. Lisa Rinna

The Melrose Place star is famous for her gorgeous plumped-up lips, and she’s ready to share her beauty secrets. “A fun little trick if you want to plump up your lips, so to speak, is a little cinnamon. Just put a little on your lips,” she said.

If not used correctly, a lash curler can damage your lashes, causing them to fall out. Miranda Kerr isn’t willing to sacrifice her long lashes, and she revealed a safer way to achieve a show-stopping look. “You can curl your eyelashes with a spoon if you don’t have an eyelash curler,” the model shared.

7. Jennifer Aniston

Washing your face with icy water has many skin benefits, such as reducing oiliness and easing acne. Jennifer Aniston said she likes to splash cold water on her face to kick-start her day. “Just get a bowl of ice water and splash your face 25 times. It’s an old-school trick that Joan Crawford used to do—it just wakes your skin up,” she said.

Which of these beauty hacks surprised you the most? Would you like to try any of them?
